The drawing will be held at the WHS Office on Tuesday, November 20. Right before Thanksgiving!

Swim
State Results:
Renee Roberts attended the ASAA Swim & Dive State Championship Meet this past weekend in Anchorage, in which 289 swimmers from 29 High Schools came together for a 2-day competition. Roberts moved up from her seeding in both her events. She finished 14th in the 50FR (26.12) and 11th in the 100FR (with a new personal best of 56.64).

Wrangell School Board Work Session
Wrangell Public School Board will hold a Work Session to review the district Crisis Plan beginning at 6:30 PM, Monday, November 5, 2018 in Evergreen Elementary Gym.
Although a quorum of the board may be present, no formal action will be taken. The public is encouraged to attend.

Wrangell Public Schools Position Announcements
Wrangell Public Schools is accepting applications for the following positions for the 2018-2019 school year:
- Accounting Clerk: The Accounting Clerk assists the business manager in maintaining financial records, accounts payable and preparing payroll. This is a 10-month position, working 7 hours per day with health care benefits. A college degree in Business or Accounting and two years accounting experience is preferred.
- Paraprofessional: These are part-time instructional aide positions working with students, 5.75 hours per day in small groups and one-on-one in the Migrant, Special Education, Title I or Regular Education Programs. An associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
