Japanese Internment Camps Guest Speaker
Shelle Stormoe from the Arkansas Historical Preservation Society shared with over 40 LJHS students and teachers about what it was like in the Rowher and Jerome Internment camps during World War II. The visit was featured in a newspaper article in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette on March 22, 2015.
Mrs. Holt's Mardi Gras Floats
Students researched Mardi Gras traditions and then created Mardi Gras themed floats which were displayed in the library.
