This week at the pool...
6/4 - 6/10/2018
Join Us for Our Annual Open House This Sunday!
Our annual Open House is SUNDAY, JUNE 10, from 1-5 p.m.
Bring your neighbors and friends and introduce them to the joys of our very special pool community!
Just print out a free guest pass from http://swim.kempmill.org/free-pass/ and bring them along when you head to the pool Sunday.
(Note: children must be accompanied by an adult to take advantage of our Open House offer.)
You can tell them all about our beautiful L-shaped Olympic-sized pool with its 25-meter competition lap lanes, 11-foot deep diving well, and separate, beautifully white-coated baby pool. But there’s nothing like plunging into it on a glorious summer day, so come on over!
When the kids need a break, you can send them off to the playground, which is freshly stained and protected with polyurethane. New wood chips, too, to protect little ones if they tumble!
Servicing on the water slide has made slip-sliding down it more fun than ever, and when that whistle blows to give all the little ones a break, they can head for the grassy area to enjoy our first-ever Yard Games at the Pool at 3 p.m. We’ll be refereeing Twister, Cornhole, giant Jenga, and more on most Sunday afternoons this summer!
We're giving away goody bags at the Open House to the first 20 visiting families. We've invited family-friendly local business to showcase services and wares.
(If you'd like to make a last-minute arrangement to market your business in some way at our open house, please contact Amie Wohlfarth at kmsc-membership@kempmill.org no later than Saturday.)
We'll also be selling 10-week trial pool memberships at the discounted price of $375 for the last time this summer. The 6-week trial memberships are $250.
Trial membership at either rate also makes any children in the family eligible to join the swim team, some of whose swimmers you’re sure to see in uniform poolside too!
The Kangaroos have their first swim meet June 13th and it’s at home! (The pool will not be open for general swimming to give the ‘Roos enough time to set up for their competition with the Middlebridge Marlins.)
Your guests will be able to ask about opportunities with the Kangaroos while they visit, or they can go to the ‘Roo website at https://kangaroos.swimtopia.com where they also can learn about the private and group swim lessons we offer members and non-members.
Use your phone while lounging poolside to read up on our swim lessons at https://kangaroos.swimtopia.com/lessons .
Amie’s also the person to contact with your membership questions – or just look for her poolside Sunday!
