Isaiah

Who was Isaiah?

Isaiah was a prophet who had several accomplishments. He was always ready for the call to be a prophet, and was always dedicated to serving under God. Isaiah also helped stabilize some peace between people. The peace he made was described as a wolf and a sheep feasting together. One last thing Isaiah brought was a small sense of freedom. Although Isaiah threw many positives to the table he also added some negatives. He divided the Kingdom into two regions, which significantly brought down the peace he restored. While he connected his kingdom he made them despise each other at the same time.

Passages of Isaiah

1. “The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, says the Lord."

(Isa. 65:25)

2. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

(Isa. 9:6)

3. “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

(Isa. 6:8)
