The Mangus Messenger
4/14/18
Dear Parents,
It's been quite a week! I'm not sure if changing schedules is harder on the kids or the teachers. HA! Our students are troopers, they are SOARing every day, and they are really taking care of each other!
CMAS is going along beautifully and the kids are doing a fantastic job! We finish our last ELA testing on Monday and then we have two days of Science...over halfway done! Woohoo! Thank you to all of you who have provided treats and drinks. We really appreciate it!
Our Food Drive is also incredible! We had to call and ask for another barrel for the Upper School. As you can see from the picture below, we have collected a lot of items in a short time! Thank you! We are also extending our Food Drive until Thurs, the 19th, to see if we can fill the lower school barrel too.
I hope you all enjoy the Gala tonight and that someone wins the bid for our Star Wars event! It's always exciting to meet the winner.

Reactions
What better way to enjoy a beautiful day then by taking Science outside! Add in a few Mentos and some Diet Coke...well, you can see all the smiles. It was fun to compare the data from the Diet Coke with the other class' data using regular Coke. By far, the Diet Coke won!
Does anyone have some empty, thicker Gatorade bottles? I'm working on gathering materials for the next experiment. HA HA HA!

Field Day
We signed up for our Field Day events on Thursday. Each student must participate in four events (one had to be a team event). There are a few that will do five events in order to help out some other students who needed to fill spots for a team. We really appreciate that teamwork!
