What We Have Been Learning
Mrs. Kleoppel & Ms. Lund’s 2nd grade students measuring walls and floors for their dream bedroom design PBL project. | Mrs. Kleoppel’s 2nd grade UOS exploring how to use block coding to control a Sphero. | Ms. Lund & Mrs. Kleoppel’s K/1 students make cloud observations during science. |
Mrs. Kleoppel & Ms. Lund’s K/1 students listen to the book “All Are Welcome” as they discuss ways to help new classmates feel a sense of belonging and identify ways they can be a good friend. | 2nd grade students in Ms. Lund & Mrs. Kleoppel’s class are working on a PBL to design their dream bedroom. | 1st grade and kindergarten students simulate how clouds produce rain. |
Mrs. Leonard’s students took inventory and categorized donations for their PBL project. | Students learned about the effects of oil spills and made contraptions to separate the oil from ocean water. | Mrs. Leonard’s students learned about the water cycle and cloud types in science. |
Road Trippin’ UOS students wrote letters and made bookmarks for their pen pals. | Students in the Paper Craft UOS get their hands dirty as they create beautiful birds with paper mache. | Mrs. Hodes 2nd graders really went above and beyond to collect for their PBL project. |
