Farmington Middle School is 1:1 with Chromebooks. These devices are an extension of the classroom. As teachers are trained to use these devices to increase student engagement and students achievement, it is important that students bring their Chromebooks to school each day and that they are fully charged. Please develop a plan with your student each night to power down and charge their device so they are prepared and do not miss out on any educational opportunities at school.

With this initiative we look to provide opportunities for our students to support our school and local community. We have a student at FMS whose mother has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. FMS is raising money help support one our families. Stay tuned for more information about meeting or goal.

Character Council is comprised of student representatives who apply for the position and are FMS role models endorsed by staff members and succeed in a selection process. The FMS Character Council leads school wide character education efforts. They model the Eight Pillars of Integrity, lead service learning opportunities, and plan school spirit activities and events. Character Council meets before school daily and plans for and coordinates service projects, character education activities, and other service learning opportunities.
