A Note From the Director
Wow! We had an amazing first full week of school at ECDC. Your children are adjusting well to the routine and we are so happy to have their laughter back in the building.
Thank you parents/grandparents for embracing our drop off and pick up procedures so gracefully. We love being able to open our doors to you again. Please remember staff are available each morning if you would like to drop off at the front door. Also, once the morning prayer begins at 8am parents will need to drop off at the office. This helps limit interruptions to the teachers and the children while they begin the morning routine.
Each class at ECDC has their own private Facebook page. Please contact your child's teacher for directions if necessary. This is where teachers will post photos/videos of your child's day as well as calendars, reminders, etc. If you do not use Facebook, please coordinate alternate communication with the teacher.
The first Thursday and Friday of every month are Spirit Dress Days at ECDC! Here are the spirit dress guidelines from the handbook:
Spirit Dress
Occurs the 1st Thursday and Friday of each month and on various days chosen by administration. Students may wear any Marquette or ECDC shirt or sweatshirt with jeans, pants, shorts, skirts, leggings, or uniform pants or shorts. Uniform shoes must be worn on spirit dress days.

Rise Trivia
After going virtual last year, we are thrilled to announce the return of Trivia Night on Friday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m.
Benefitting the RISE Program (Religious Inclusive Student Education), this year's event will take place entirely outside as we prioritize health and social distancing. The night includes fellowship, food, fun and of course, trivia. Additionally, our beloved Cram Session is back (5:30 to 7 p.m.) providing participants a chance to prep for trivia while enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
Founded in 2007, RISE supports students with special needs obtain a Catholic education in their home parish. Today, the program helps approximately 60 students with learning differences find success in the classroom through varying levels of support.
I hope you will round up your friends and family as we support RISE.
