Hard at Work!
Look who is yelling at Mrs. Brewer today!
Welcome to Scott!
What an amazingly busy week again here at Scott! We are so grateful to be part of the wonderful activities, both academically and socially, that are taking place in our building.
It is that time of the year that we begin to reflect! Take a look back over the school year and ask yourself the tough questions: What are three things that you would do over and over again, the exact same way as you did this year? What character traits did you exhibit that you are proud of displaying to the students and your teammates? What did you learn from the Scott faculty? What did you contribute to the Scott family? What are three things that you would do differently, if given the chance? What area do you know you need to grow in and work on? What things do you know you need to bring up for discussion on your team?
In the spirit of vulnerability...I am working to minimize and manage the life stresses that I have control over. For instance, I want to make sure that I don't take on anything else in my life until I have my current situation under control. One of my goals for next year, as far as school goes, is to make visible the things we hold tight here at Scott. My hope is that anyone that comes into the building will be able to know right away what we are working on because we are all united and streamlined on our goals.
As we close out this school year, we encourage you to review your own goals with your students. Allow them to see the process you go through to review and set your own goals. Encourage your students to set goals for the next grade! Make goal setting part of what you do with your class weekly.
Questions, questions, questions. Sometimes we love them. Sometimes they make us think and reflect! Either way, they make us stop and regroup.
Lots of Field Day pics coming next week, but we can't let it pass without saying - COACHES!!! NICE JOB!!!!!
We wish you a relaxing and restful weekend!

Shout OUT to everyone that donated books to Wylie ISD!
We appreciate Megan Manganilla! She is always there to help us!
Welcome back Mrs. Moore!!
Staff Members Moving on...
One of the hardest things about our daily work is saying goodbye to those that have impacted our lives in one way or another. It is with gratitude and best wishes that we say goodbye to the following staff members:
Allison Leggeri, SLP will be moving to Denver, Colorado!
Kelsey Goforth, long term sub for Mrs. Moore, is moving to San Marcos!
We are so excited for all of you and your new endeavors! You will all be missed!
