The McKenzie PTA raises money during the year to support the iGNITE programming for all McKenzie students as well as to provide a gift or gifts to the school that can enhance our students' learning experiences today and tomorrow. This survey is the initial brainstorming tool to see where you, McKenzie parents and PTA members, would like to see those funds distributed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact MaryAnne O'Keefe at maryanneokeefe@gmail.com directly. Thank you for your time in completing this survey and in supporting the McKenzie PTA and your McKenzie students, teachers, staff, and community!

PTA General Board Meeting:

All PTA members are welcome! Please join us on October 17th immediately after morning drop-off to learn about the many programs and events the PTA sponsors. The meeting will be in the cafeteria and start at 8:40am. Children are welcome to attend.

iGNITE:

Thanks to the 50% of McKenzie families who have donated to IGNITE! We are at 78% of our goal of $35,250. Recently, iGNITE has funded or will fund: Kindergarten trip to Emily Oaks Nature Center, 1st grade habitat lessons, 3rd grade trip to the Heller Nature Center, and 4th grade trip to the water treatment plant. Please show your support for these iGNITE programs and more by clicking here.

Fall Frenzy:

Tonight, 5:30pm – 8pm!

Teacher Gift Fund:

The PTA is changing things up this year by asking for a monetary contribution that will go toward holiday gifts for all teachers and the entire McKenzie staff! In the past, room parents collected funds for classroom teacher gifts, but front office, custodians, specials teachers and paraprofessional staff members were not included. In an effort to recognize everyone working with the children, please consider a suggested donation of $40 per student. Thanks in advance! Please click here to contribute before November 17th.
