Friday, September 11th at Squaw Valley Park
Join us on Friday, September 11th from 11:00 am-2:00 pm for our Welcome Back Picnic at Squaw Valley Park in Fox Chapel!
All families and students in all grade levels are encouraged and welcome to attend!!
It will be a great time to meet families, staff, and get your questions answered!
Squaw Valley Park is a beautiful park that has a playground area, basketball court, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, and more!

Squaw Valley Park, O'Hara Township, PA (Shelter #2)
Agenda:
- 11:00 am: Arrival, Sign In, and Welcomes
- 11:15 am-12:00 pm: Meet and Greet and Information, Question & Answer Session
- 12:00 pm: Lunch-(Please bring a bagged lunch for your family and you may also bring a side dish to share with the group-please do not bring anything with nut products due to allergy concerns). *PA Virtual will supply drinks, paper products, and a treat!*
- 12:45-2:00 pm- Games, Crafts, and Fun
- 2:00 pm: Farewells-Have a great year!!
You may add 90 minutes of Physical Education time and 30 minutes of Language Arts time to the OLS if attending this outing.
Purpose of This Outing: Social
Learning Objectives:
- Families will meet and connect with other PA Virtual Families
- Students and parents will meet PA Virtual staff
- Students & Parents will be oriented for school through discussions with PA Virtual School Staff
Reminders for all PA Virtual Events:
- An adult chaperone must stay on-site for all PA Virtual events.
- Shoes must be worn at all times.
- All PA Virtual events are smoke-free.
- Pets should never be brought to PA Virtual events.
- To limit the spread of possible flu, please do not attend a PA Virtual event if you have had a fever within 24 hours of the event.
- In consideration of our students with allergies, please refrain from bringing balloons or food containing nut products
