Youth Truth Survey

We need your voice! This survey is for Parents/Guardians.

Help us make our school great by taking this quick survey. Parents and guardians have the opportunity to provide feedback for their child's school in areas like culture, engagement, relationships, communication & feedback, school safety, and resources.

Our goal is 80 parent responses. The results are used to create our school improvement plan and all submissions are anonymous. Thank you for supporting our students!

Here is a video that explains what the Youth Truth Survey is all about.

The Youth Truth survey will open on May 1st and close on May 26. Please take a moment to fill it out, we would love to hear from you. ytsurvey.org/molallarivfamily23.

A note from Nurse Amanda

Greetings!

After three long years of ever-changing pandemic exclusion guidance, we have finally reached the final stage--Widespread Population Immunity!! Please see the excerpt below from a recent ODE update, effective today, 5/11/2023:

*A five-day period of isolation for those infected with COVID-19 will also no longer be recommended for the general population, including people in K-12 education settings. Oregon public health officials believe widespread population immunity due to vaccination and repeated infections means most COVID-19 infections are now likely asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic, and the five-day isolation period is doing little to reduce transmission. The recommendation for the general population will be to stay home until fever free for 24 hours and symptoms are improving; to avoid contact with individuals at increased risk for severe disease, including older adults and those with underlying medical conditions; and to consider masking for 10 days.

Operationally, this means that we will treat COVID similarly to any other illness, and follow the symptoms-based exclusion guidance. [Fever-free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication, unexplained vomiting free for 48 hours, diarrhea free for 48 hours.]

Thank you!

Amanda
