SH Blue Crew (THAT'S EVERYONE!) Performs Acts of Service

Join us for an uplifting and interactive discussion about the joys and pains of parenting. Our guest speaker, Mark Hayes, is a two-time Emmy award nominee, TEDx speaker, and Telly award-winning former television news anchor.
Mark spent nearly three decades bringing news viewers in major cities like Dallas, Denver, Atlanta, and Detroit their news of the day. Now Mr. Hayes is helping parents understand the value of dynamic communication to form meaningful connections with their children so they can be the positive guiding light in their lives. Mark will share his insight into how the media landscape has changed and how it has affected the way we communicate with each other. He will give you an intimate glimpse into how what we consume adds to the difficulties of parenting in the new millennium. Mr. Hayes will also offer solutions to overcome those speed bumps and to help strengthen our relationships with our children.
This is a discussion you don’t want to miss! There is sure to be something for everyone who cares about their children and their community in this presentation.

Fifth Grade Memory Book Photos
If you have a fifth grader at Salford Hills we would love some photos of your fifth grader (with his/her classmates) over the years at Salford Hills. If you have photos from socials, Race for Education, field trips, or any other school events, we would appreciate your sharing them with us for the 5th Grade Memory Book. Please do not send any individual photos or photos of events outside of school. We exclusively need photos (of two or more children together) from events at Salford Hills.
There are two ways you can share them:
1. Email them to memorybook@salfordhillshsa.org (Please be sure to label with your child's last name, teacher and grade (example: Devlin-Maraschiello-1)
2. Please create each album specific to one school year, and label the album with your child's last name, teacher, and grade (example: Devlin-Maraschiello-1). You may make the album in your photo storage place of choice (Google photos, Shutterfly, or wherever), and share it with
memorybook@salfordhillshsa.org.
We need photos from:
kindergarten (2017-2018)
first grade (2018-2019)
second grade (2019-2020)
third grade (2020-2021)
