Spotlight on Ms. Horne, Mr. Babeu, and Ms. Cardenas
I would like to spotlight Ms. Horne and Mr. Babue. Their classes came in the library this week and did speed read dating with a book. Ms. Clark's classes came in Fri. to kick off poetry stations in 8th grade. Students got to create their own poems and had a great time.
I would also like to spotlight Ms. Cardenas for the wonderful display of Day of the Dead. It is beautiful!
Spotlight on Mr. Reilly
Mr. Reilly is in his first year of teaching and has really jumped right into our Core Values of Learn, Lead, Achieve. He is a very active participant in our Math PLC’s. Mr. Reilly is very reflective of his practices, and steps out of his comfort zone to learn all that he can from his team and peers. I really appreciate his dedication to learning his new craft and look forward to seeing him grow as a teacher and teacher leader.
