Hi I am going to tell you about a problem going on in our world. People are throwing plastic and paper in the garbage can you help?
We are learning about persuasive writing. We are studying problems happening in our world. Next week we will start writing a persuasive speech on a topic related to the environment.
Math (Written by, Malia R )
Hi my name is Malia R and in math we are learning about measurements. We can measure using centimeters, inches, yards, and meters. They are hard to learn but its fun! Some of us are measuring food wrappers to the exact length. It's really fun! That's what we are doing in math!

Science
We began our Insect Unit this past week. The students are excited about having their own mealworm pets as we study the life cycle of an insect. We can't wait to see what they transform into over the next couple of weeks!
