Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair arrives at QE in just a few days. Your child will receive a letter and a Scholastic Book Fair list this week. It highlights many of the books we will have at the fair. This list is only a sampling of the books available.
Your child will have the opportunity to purchase books during his or her Library class on Tuesday, November 9th (Day 3 classes) or Thursday, November 11th (Day 1 classes). If your child is interested in purchasing any books, all money should be brought in on their Library day. The order form that is on the back of the book list can be brought in at that time to make shopping easier.
If you send a check in with your child, please make sure it is made payable to Quakertown Elementary School. As per state requirements we must charge sales tax with any purchase. There is also a digital payment option for students called eWallet. Your child can shop the fair cash-free. Please note if you use this option, whatever amount is unused by your child at the end of the fair will not be returned back to your credit card.
Please visit the Book Fair homepage at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/qe to learn about payment options and to shop online! Online shopping will be available from November 4th – November 17th.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Our remaining parent-teacher conferences will be held on November 11 and 18 from 4PM-8PM and they will be run virtually. Your teachers have already reached out to you to schedule these conferences but you can also find a document for each of your child's teacher here so that you can see any remaining timeslots.
