Human Rights Awareness Club!
Created By: Hassan Mehdi
What is our goal?
At December 10th, 1948, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights were created to offer every human equality and justice. Not only were they created for equality but they were also created for many other reasons like how one should be treated. Our main objective is to primarily raise more awareness about human rights and how ethical or important it is. With this, we can teach many Rick Hansen students about the brilliance behind these well-constructed rights and how it helps shape our identity.

Positivity & Awareness
I strongly believe that creating a club will majorly bring positive change in the school and will help raise awareness about human rights because educating the generation of tomorrow about topics like these is not only going to help them become successful in becoming an ethical human being but it is also going to help the people in their surroundings and the people who they encounter in the future. Knowing about human rights is extremely important since the concept itself is so closely related to the belief that culture is so precious and central to our identity. Teaching the youth of this generation these type of topics is extremely important since it will bring positive change to the cause itself and to them as well. As Bryan Stevenson once said, "We cannot be full evolved human beings until we care about human rights and basic dignity"
