Monthly report
June--Staff attended TCEA Area conference in White Oak. Helped in setup for Summer School. Began summer jobs.
August--Began configuration for Google Apps for Education since the introduction of the free Google Classroom. SchoolMessenger training for office staffs with this access. Rolled files for DMAC, Renaissance, TxEIS, txGradebook, and Texas Success Inititive programs, Think Through Math & iStation. Created accounts for new staff. TxEIS Summer Release #2 & rebuid #25 installed.
September--Updated DMAC Class Roster files. Trained new subs in Aesop. Attended Region VII Technology Coordinator's Meeting. TxEIS Summer Release Patch #2 and rebuild #26 installed. TxEIS Summer Release Patch #3 installed.
October--Introduced Digital Citizenship Month to all students. Attended Fall Innovative Teaching and Technology conference at Region VII. Updated DMAC Class Roster Files. TxEIS & txSuite Fall Release updated. All teachers and students participate in the Clarity Bright Bytes survey.
November--Attended E-rate training at Region VII. Added JH to Aesop and trained all staff. All Staff completed the Star Chart survey.
December--Added Baker-Koonce to Aesop and trained all staff. TxEIS Fall Release Patch 2.0.0001 Build 39 and 40 installed. Filed for E-rate, federal technology funds.
January--Google Vault became free. Uploaded classes into FitnessGram. DMAC Class Roster files updated. TxEIS Winter Release PATCH 2.0.0002 Build 0054 installed. Added Aesop to Libby and trained all Staff. Uploaded 8th graders to Learning.com for Technology Assessment.
February--Setup for Career & Tech Fair. Started talking to staff about Patch Tuesdays and how to more efficiently work with these installs. Continued to test Google Apps before going live with staff/students.
March--Updated all labs for latest TestNav. Assisted with online testing for TELPAS, STAAR, and EOCs. DMAC Class Roster files updated.
April--Assisted with online testing for STAAR and EOCs. Assisted with software and scoreboard for track meet.
May--Assisted with EOCs online at CHS. Migrated Exchange/Outlook email to Gmail district-wide and offered training to all staff. DMAC Class Roster files updated.
Summer Trainings Available
I have also added a link to the school website that offers short tutorials on all the Google apps available to you. These tutorials include very short videos with a complete overview of each app. Google offers certifications if you are interested in those.

The Technology summer office hours are Monday-Thursday from 8 am-4 pm.
Starting next month, the Tech Bytes will feature a different Google App. each month. Feel free to call or email if you need assistance with the Google Apps.
