We are excited to welcome students and families on the first day of school, this Wednesday, August 16th. Although we have a parking variance on Culver that day, meaning you can park along Culver at the curb, we suggest allowing extra time for your drop-off.
Elementary starts at 8:00 am.
Middle School starts at 8:15 am.
Note the Wednesday Bell Schedule included in this newsletter. The school gates will open by 7:45.
We have three main entrance areas: the front of the school, the middle school loop near the gym, and the gate near Settler's Park.
*Please note, this year middle school students may enter through Settler's Gate in the morning, but they will not be allowed to exit Settler's Gate after school. They will be guided to other exits.
Campus will be open for self-guided tours 8/15 from 4-6 should you choose to do so.
Thank you for your support and consideration in joining our phenomenal Orchard Hills PTO. Our PTO is the rocket fuel that helps us soar to new heights each year, enriching our programs and campus prodigiously.
We hope to have our highest parent participation ever, further building the positive momentum of excellence and opportunity for our students at Orchard Hills.
Our journey of the new school year begins together on Wednesday, together we are sure to soar.

6th Grade WEB Orientation August 15th
Greetings 6th Grade Orchard Hills School Parents!
We are excited to welcome your 6th grade student(s) to Orchard Hills School and look forward to meeting everyone during 6th grade orientation on Tuesday, August 15th, from 12:00-3:00! Our goal is for our WEB Program to help your 6th grade students’ first year of middle school be a stress-free experience!
WHAT IS WEB (Where Everybody Belongs)?
WEB is a nationwide program designed to welcome and support 6th grade students by connecting them with 8th grade WEB Leaders who are positive, responsible role models that have been hand-selected by teachers and school staff. Your students' WEB Leaders will help them feel more comfortable and help them achieve success during their first year of middle school.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
In the coming weeks, your student will receive a handwritten postcard in the mail inviting them to orientation. Orientation will be on Tuesday, August 15th, from 12:00-3:00!
WHAT DOES MY STUDENT NEED FOR ORIENTATION?
Students should plan to wear comfortable clothes to this very active student-only orientation program. Students do not need to bring anything except a positive attitude and a willingness to have fun while making new friends!
DO PARENTS ATTEND ORIENTATION?
6th grade orientation is intended for and geared towards students only. Please plan to leave your student at the door of the gym and return to pick them up at the conclusion of orientation at 3:00.

Middle School Bell Schedules
ALL RETURNING STUDENTS PLEASE COMPLETE AERIES CONFIRMATION ASAP!
Hello Families of Tustin Unified School District,
This message is to notify you that Parent Data Confirmation is now open for TUSD Families for the 23-24 school year. Please login to your
Aeries Parent Portal to start confirming your data.
Parent Data Confirmation is required for all students enrolling at Tustin Unified. Data Confirmation will need to be completed before accessing any other parts of the Aeries Portal.As a review, the Data Confirmation process will:
- Allow schools to have the most current contact information.
- Help determine which programs a student may be eligible for.
- Assist the school in school funding.
- Allow parents to review and approve authorizations and annual documents for the school year.
The final step for Data Confirmation will be the E-signature acknowledging and agreeing to the information entered during the process, as well as approving of the documents listed on Data Confirmation (e.g. Acceptable Use Agreement, School Policies, etc).
