The Block Party Returns! by Adelle Vanvleet and Gemma McCoy
The block party returns, and it is better than ever! In this article we will hear others thoughts and opinions about the block party. We asked everybody the same question, “How are you liking the block party?” We first asked Mrs. Sheeley she said, "I love it, it is so fun. Everybody's having a blast!” It was her first ever block party! Next, we asked Gavin a 3rd grader. He said, "It's awesome and so much fun.” We asked Mrs. Miller, she said, “Getting to see my older students especially the ones that have gotten so big!” Olivia who is in first grade said, "I just got here” Does it look fun we asked, "Yes!” Jill.V a volunteer for the cake walk says, it is perfect weather, and I love volunteering.”
Here are some highlights of the block party:
· The cake walk was so fun. Winning treats at the cake walk was also fun.
· There was a guy that made epic balloon animals!
· And there was a bouncy slide!
· There were food trucks!
· Hanawalt merch booth!
· A photo booth where you could take pictures with your friends!
The block party was so much fun! I hope everyone that went enjoyed it as much as we did. And thank you to all the volunteers that also helped. Thanks to the people who donated treats to the cake walk.
