Symptoms and Causes
Vibriosis is an infection that is caused by seawater exposure or the consumption of raw seafood. Symptoms include diarrhea, cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache, fever, and chills.
Treatment
Treatment for vibriosis is usually unnecessary. It is recommended that you drink plenty of fluids. However, antibiotics and hospitalization are required in more severe cases.
