EDI FOCUS:
- Effective lessons are built on LO's that ensure students are taught concepts/skills as opposed to filling out worksheets.
- LO's make students more successful because objectives focus teaching efforts on specific concepts/skills needed for Independent Practice.
- LO's allow teachers to measure if students achieve the outcome of the lesson.
- LO's tell students what they are expected to do.
- LO's when correctly designed, ensure that lessons are on grade level.
- Posting the Learning Objective in your classroom - What does that look like in your room?
