How to Add a Graduate Certificate

Diversify your Expertise at Arcadia's School of Education

What is a Graduate Certificate?

If you are looking to develop targeted expertise in one area of education (such as STEM, ESL, or Connected Learning), then you are a great candidate for a graduate certificate program. The programs are typically 4-5 graduate classes, often available online and over the summer. You can even combine two certificates towards a Modular Masters Degree in Education.

How do I enroll in a Graduate Certificate Program?

If you are a current graduate student at Arcadia:

  1. Add the certificate to your program of study by completing the "change of status" form (available online at: http://bit.do/certchange ).
  2. Send the completed form to our certificate officer, Mary Kate McNulty (mcnultym@arcadia.edu)

If you are a new student, indicate on your application which certificates you plan to earn.

How do I complete a Graduate Certificate?

  1. Meet with your advisor to decide your course of study.
  2. Take all classes in the certificate program.
  3. When you have completed all of your coursework, submit a "certificate completion form" (available online at: http://bit.do/certcomplete ) to our certificate officer.
