A Message from the Cafe

The end of the school year is coming soon and we are completing another year using the Meal Time System for paying for school lunches. One of the many advantages of this system is that if your child is short money for lunch, he/she can “charge” up to two lunches. When your child makes a deposit in their account, the “charge” is automatically cleared up.

Some parents recently have received notices of balances due for their children. It would be appreciated of these balances would be paid by May 13, 2016 in an effort to clear up our books by the end of the school year.

In addition, beginning May 16, 2016 we will not allow children to charge a lunch. If your child does not have enough money for lunch, they will receive an Alternative Lunch:

2 pieces of bread

2 pieces of cheese

1 fruit

1 vegetable

1 milk

If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to call the Warren cafeteria.

K-Kids Teams Up with the Humane Society

Please help the Warren KKIDs help out the Humane Society! We will be doing an item drive starting on Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 13. Please see the attached list of items they are in need of. Even used, but clean, towels and blankets are accepted. Please go through those linen closets and see what you have to help our local animal shelter! All items can be brought to the table outside Mrs. Johnsen’s room.

Thank you for always helping the KKIDS with their service learning projects! It is so rewarding to help others in our community!
Any questions, ask Mrs. Johnsen or one of the KKIDS.
