CPU
A CPU or Central Processing Unit is the hardware within a computer system which follows instructions of a computer program basic logical operations of the system almost like the brain of the hardware. The term has been in use in the computer industry since the early 60s. The form, design, the effect and of CPUs have changed over the course of their history, but their main operation remains much the same. On large machines, CPUs require one or more printed circuit boards. On personal computers and small workstations, the CPU is housed in a single silicon chip called a microprocessor. Since the 1970s the microprocessor class of CPUs has almost completely overtaken all other CPU implementations. Modern CPUs are large scale integrated circuits in packages typically less than four centimeters square, with hundreds of connecting pins.
Intel
Intel is probably one of the most known and used cpu operating system in computing and is used in most big brands products.
Microsoft
Microsoft windows, the most used software on computer and possibly the most popular usually runs with an intel cpu as does the other big software brands like linux or macintosh.
smartphones
Now a days cpu's are used in most technologies, even in phones. your smartphones runs on cpu technology that could have launched the spaceship used to put the first men on the moon.
