May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13)

Dear whānau, tamariki and parishioners,

The sunny days are bringing out the best in our children. It is great to see them out together playing team games and working together. Your children are an absolute credit to you all, working hard right to the very end; I have read some wonderful stories about Christmas, some persuasive texts encouraging elves to travel the world, lovely letters to Santa and some mighty fine 'warning' stories.

The Senior Leadership Team is planning for 2022, we have smaller classes that are of mixed year groups (composite classes) these will really make the best of our teaching spaces - exciting! Overall, I feel like we have all had enough to manage this year so I am definitely taking it slowly to make the best decisions rather than the 'quick' decisions. There will be more information to come of course!

I hope you are all beginning to plan for a restful and holy time with your families.

God bless, kia kaha, Annie

Christmas mufti on Friday

A big thank you for your support last Monday. We sold 170 gingerbread reindeer. We raised $185.80 and today we have added $453.90 to that total, making it $639.70, Mrs Nelson will round that up to $650.

Congratulations to Hamish Christie who guessed the correct number of lollies in the jar. Our Christmas themed mufti day has been great fun, everyone looked great. We will give this money to our local St Vincent de Paul Society after our school Mass on Monday morning.

Thank you from Madelyn, Alby, Max and Augusta

A Donkey's Christmas

It has just got to be the very best time of the year. The Junior students were outstanding yesterday, I really hope families got to see the zoom link either live or later in the day. Well done to everyone involved, thanks for all your work in ensuring to make the Christmas season complete with the Nativity story.
