GACE Statewide Career Fair
The Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers (GACE) presentes the 12th annual GACE Statewide Career Fair
When: April 12th, 2017; 11 AM - 3 PM
Where: Cobb Galleria, Exhibit A
What: A variety of employers (150+) will be seeking college students and graduates for internships, part-time jobs, and full-time jobs. To participate, you MUST be a current student or alumni of one of the GACE participating member schools listed.

Development Intern: Fall through Spring
Position Description: Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Development, the Development Intern will assist in the administration of various philanthropic projects at ESP. The Development Intern will assist in grant administration, grant research, monthly giving administration, donor appreciation, campaign promotional materials, donor events, and other development-related needs. The intern will work closely with the Coordinator of Development, the Executive Director, and other full-time ESP staff and volunteers to create cohesive development strategies that align with our mission. This internship is a great opportunity for those interested in nonprofit administration, fundraising, and for those wanting and willing to learn. Based on the nature of this role and the culture of ESP, this internship will begin in the Fall semester each year and run through the end of the Spring semester.

PULSE Program
Position Description: PULSE cultivates a community of young servant leaders to transform Pittsburgh by inviting talented university graduates to partner with Pittsburgh nonprofits for a year of service and leadership. Participants serve in a wide variety of different nonprofits, ranging from the arts to community development, social service to environmental. We work with accepted participants to identify a good fit for the participant and our partner organizations. We’ve worked with over 125 nonprofits in Pittsburgh.

AmeriCorps Participant - GCAC College Adviser
Position Description: The Georgia College Advising Corps (GCAC) is a grant-funded, near-peer college access program and a partner with the national, non-profit College Advising Corps. GCAC seeks to help Georgia students from low-income, first-generation-college, and underrepresented backgrounds attend and graduate from college. College advisers work alongside counseling staff in selected public high schools throughout the state of Georgia. They assist students with navigating the college admissions process. This includes, but is not limited to, admissions applications, financial aid forms and scholarship applications, and college entrance examination preparation and registration.

The process of applying to graduate school can be overwhelming! Where should you start? Attend this session to learn the basics, including common requirements, tips for requesting recommendation letters, grad school timelines, and key questions to ask yourself (and potential graduate programs) throughout the application process.
Arch Ready: Backpack to Briefcase
Time: 5-6 PM
Location: MLC, Rm. 148
A program for students to learn the differences between college and work environments while exploring ways to successfully navigate generational work differences & styles. Students will also learn how to create an approrpiate work wardrobe on a 'college' budget while learning tactics to ease the transition from college to the professional world.
After attending this program, students will be able to identify and articulate the differences and similarities between the college environment and the work environment, identify strategies to successfully begin your professional career, and identify tips and resources to help transition into living in "the real world".
