How to Battle Leprosy

The type of treatment you get depends on the type of leprosy you have. Three different Antibiotics are recommended for treatment usually dapsone, rifampin, and clofazimine. The treatment normally takes 6 months to one year more severe leprosy may take even longer. Antibiotics do not treat the nerve damage you may have suffered from leprosy.

There are only around 100 cases of Leprosy in the United States.
