CHS9 Staff Bulletin 8-30-19
"Everyone. Everyday. Whatever it takes."
Gorka's Gab
Mrs. Smith shared this video Sunday and I thought it was a perfect reminder of the opportunity we are given everyday to be the difference in our student's lives by always responding with compassion!
Next week being the first Wednesday of the month we will hold our faculty meeting. We will meet in the LGI at 2:45. After this meeting I would love to get a picture of all of our staff in their college shirts. The links to purchase your "jeans passes" are below. Make sure to print your receipt and bring to Audrey so she will get you your pass to hang outside your classroom door. Remember all proceeds are used to support staff lunches and recognition! Also, you don't have to have a "jeans pass" to wear a college shirt. This is something we would like everyone to do to support higher education. Your shirt can be a great way to start a conversation with your students!
Reminder; I have shared with families that tutoring starts Monday. Make sure to opt in to receive emergency text messages from the district. See understruction in the picture below. Also, we only have 58 of you who have joined this year's campus Remind 101 account. To do so enter 81010 and then text this message, @chs9201.
Below in our bulletin I have included the link to the November bond election. I plan to leave it in our bulletin until the bond is passed. It's success will have a major impact on us all. Conroe is growing fast and we will need the space and support that the bond will provide! Our enrollment today was 1167 students. Please share this information will all of your voting neighbors and friends!
I hope you all have a safe and happy "Labor Day" weekend!
