Robison Elementary Rocket Register

How to Track Your Child's Bus

Until the buses establish a pattern, we typically send text messages to let parents know when their child's bus has left Robison. It is a cumbersome task to send separate messages for each bus through School Messenger. Now that our buses have established a pattern, we are no longer sending text messages. One way to stay in the loop with your child's arrival and dismissal times is to register for Zonar.
  • CFISD parents can sign up to receive notifications when their student enters or exits the bus using their RFID-enabled ID card. The parent portal is free of charge to all CFISD parents.

Watch D.O.G.S.

Our WATCH D.O.G.S. program will kick off on Friday, September 30 when we host a breakfast for all interested dads and father figures.

Message from Mrs. Gerletti

Thank you to everyone who attended the ECSE, PK, K, & 1st grade Curriculum Night.

We hope to see many parents at our 2nd-5th grade Curriculum Night on Tuesday, September 13.

Teachers will hold one session at 6:00 pm, and then repeat the same session at 7:00 pm. These sessions are extra helpful to parents since the teachers will be sharing specific information about your child's classroom routines and the curriculum. All sessions will take place in your child's classroom, and we look forward to seeing you. If you are unable to attend, your child's teacher(s) will email their slides to you afterward.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am Ms. Wolfe for those of you who may be new to our wonderful school, I am your librarian, and excited about this school year!

A few things are coming our way real soon!

Library Birthday Book Club-It’s a tradition at Robison. I hope you will participate in this great program where kids love to select their own book and see their nameplate inside it. It is a wonderful way to help your child realize the importance of reading and they will leave a gift to Robison for years to come. The cost is $15 PLEASE use SCHOOL CASH as the form of payment. More information will be sent out in the next 2 weeks.

Summer READING Challenge-complete your challenge by September 19th to be included in a drawing for prizes and books. Students completing the challenge will also receive bronze, silver, or GOLD medals! Please sign your child’s yellow paper and return it to the library! So proud of my summer readers! Looking forward to the great bookmarks too.

Scholastic Book Fair is around the corner! Great childhood memories are created by visiting the bookfair and purchasing their own books. Most books are paperbacks and reading is truly a superpower: it builds problem-solving skills, imagination empathy, vocabulary and so much more. If you are interested in volunteering, please email emerson.wolfe@cfisd.net or a signup Genuis will be going out soon from your PTO. Our fair starts Sept. 30th and runs until October 7th at noon. Family night will take place October 4th from 4:30 to 7 PM, parents may bring their child/ren to shop for books together!

Student Birthdays

Student birthdays are recognized on our daily announcement slides.

If you'd like to have your child's birthday celebrated at school, we offer parents the opportunity to purchase ice cream ($1.00) or cookies ($.50) from the cafeteria to be distributed to their child's class during lunch. In order for our cafeteria to prepare for this, you must give at least one week's notice. You may email michelle.mendiola@cfisd.net if you are interested.

We are unable to allow students to hand out birthday invitations at school, or to hand out birthday treats in the classrooms.
