From the Principal's Desk
As we move through the rest of April and into May, there are plenty of opportunities for families to get involved in school activities. Thursday of this week from 5pm-7pm, we have exciting events lined up for our Taste of College Park Event. We will have cooking demonstrations from our Kindergarten to 4th-grade students to showcase the hard work our students have done learning simple healthy cooking snack recipes, and we want you to be a part of it. Your children have been learning to cook healthy snacks with our parents, and we want you to see them in action. It's an opportunity to thank them for their fun application of skills and our celebrity chefs for teaching our children with love and care!
During the Taste of College Park Event, you will get to hear from me about our progress and what is making us successful. I will also share the areas where we will seek to improve, and your input will be highly appreciated. We are looking forward to seeing our school packed, just like it was at the beginning of the school year.
In May, we have awards day and closing events such as, Hairspray performances, field day and skate night coming up. Please get your calendars ready, as dates will be rolling in from your teachers and here in our school events communication.
At this point, I want to thank you for your continuous support and cooperation. Together, we can make a difference in our children's education and growth. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Dr. Maisha N. Otway
Principal
