Valentine's Party (Adults Only) Invitation - RSVP ASAP!
CALLING ALL RESIDENTS INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CANDIDATE FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
On February 16, 2016 we will hold an election for a two-year term to the HOA Board of Directors. There are three seats available. For the last two weeks we have been actively soliciting names to be placed into nomination. So far, no members have submitted their names for consideration. Therefore, we are extending the nomination date until Saturday, February 6th at close of business.
You can submit your name by sending an email to email@example.com. Include your name, address and phone number with a brief description of your qualifications, and a recent headshot (photo in JPEG format). A Board member will contact you to confirm your nomination.
The three retiring members, Claudia Calloway, Keith Campbell and Lynn Atkinson have served on the HOA Boards for two years. Because of their involvement the HOA remains financially sound has updated amenities and an active social calendar. Now comes the time they must pass this responsibility on to other members of the community.
Serving on the Board of Directors requires a minimum amount of time and should not be an impediment in deciding to run for office. Our administrative vendor, Sentry Management, handles the basic accounting, legal, and logistics work. The Board of Directors works as a team to set policy, write procedures, provide oversight and is the voice of the HOA.
We need members in good standing to accept this challenge. We need help protecting and consolidating the gains of the last four years. Please place your name in nomination today. If not you, who?
