Thank you for joining us at our SHOWCASE!
Thanks to those of you who attended our semester-end showcase on Tuesday! We had a terrific turn out! We appreciate your support and the chance to show off some of the very cool things we have been doing here at Liberty Academy!
Misconceptions about the FAFSA
SENIOR PARENTS: There are several misconceptions about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It is often these misconceptions that keep parents and senior students from completing the form. Click HERE to read an article about FAFSA and why it is important for ALL students to submit. Missouri's priority deadline is February 1st.
Something college-bound seniors should do over the winter break!
SENIORS: The Community Scholarship Program is NOW OPEN! The scholarships listed in this program are awarded ONLY to seniors in Liberty Public Schools! This means YOU have a really great chance to be awarded ANY of them!
Deadline for all scholarship materials to be emailed to the contributing organizations is February 1st at 4pm. Contact Mrs. Streu (lori.streu@lps53.org) if you have questions about the process!
Also note that Mrs. Streu will have a couple of Community Scholarship WORK SESSIONS in January! Watch upcoming newsletters for exact dates and times!
LHS graduates: Do you need additional tickets for the big event?
- Every LHS graduate (class of 2019) will receive seven (7) tickets. If a graduate would like to request up to three (3) additional tickets, please fill out the Request Extra Tickets form no later than March 11, 2019.
