Call for Chaperones and Pit Crew Support
- Chaperones are needed each week to support students during competitions.
- It is a highly rewarding and FUN way to become involved with your student and get to know the band members.
- New chaperones are always paired with experienced chaperones.
- Text or call Ericka DeFelice at 910-382-2176 if you have questions or would like to sign up!
PIT CREW:
- Pit crew members are needed each week to help load and unload the truck, and to move instruments, props, and equipment on and off the field.
- We are in need of volunteers for Saturday morning at 7:15 AM at Treadwell Park to unload the truck.
- Email Jeff Timmons with any questions at jeffreyftimmons@gmail.com.
Tag Sale Update
- We have a goal of raising $3,500 at this year's Tag Sale on September 25.
- This community-wide event needs all hands on deck! Here is where you can sign up to volunteer for the Tag Sale so we can make sure we have all the help necessary to make this a success!
- On the Friday evening before the Tag Sale (September 24 from 5 pm to 9pm), students will volunteer at NHS for Junk in the Trunk. As people pull up with items to donate, students will carry them from the cars to the cafeteria. Here is where you can sign up to volunteer for Junk in the Trunk.
- Start combing through your home for anything you wish to donate for the Tag Sale!
- If you have a large item to donate for the Tag Sale that you cannot transport yourself, please email Betsy Krauss with a description of the item and your address, so she can schedule a Friday night pick up.
- If you have a pick up truck and can help with large item pick ups on Sept. 24, please email Betsy Krauss.
