WES 1st Grade
Mrs. Williams' Class News for September
Updates for the Week of Sep. 27-30
Hello First Graders & Families!
Can you believe it's almost October?
It's hard to believe that it's already time for our very first progress reports to go home. We have been hard at work in first grade so far this quarter and we are very proud of the progress that each student has made. We've already learned SO much!
When reviewing progress reports this week, please keep in mind that we are updating you on how your child is progressing towards END OF YEAR standards. It is perfectly acceptable for your child to receive a 2 (progressing towards end of year standards) at this point in the school year. We will continue to work on many of our standards throughout the year.
Please be on the lookout for a conference invitation from us. I will be discussing progress reports for the first quarter and giving an overview of reading and math assessment results. It is our goal to meet with each of you by the end of October.
