COVID-19 won’t stop us from engaging in fun science! Today, we are modeling stimulus and response events, collecting and analyzing data, drawing conclusions all while having fun 6 ft apart!

Ms. Braman's 7th Grade Science

7th Grade Science is Using Their "Potential," Potential and Kinetic Energy That Is! In order to investigate the factors that affect potential and kinetic energy, seventh grade students launched mini and jumbo marshmallows using popsicle stick catapults. The students measured the average distance both types marshmallows traveled and compared the data in order to determine if certain factors did affect the amount of energy involved in the system.

BGJHS Students Jenna Harston, 8th Grade, and Caroline Childers, 7th Grade, competed in The Apollo Invitational Girls Golf Tournament on September 19 at Ben Hawes Golf Course in Owensboro, KY. Caroline Childers played on the BGHS Tournament Team and Jenna Harston played as an individual. The team finished in first place out of 8 teams.


During a match against Franklin-Simpson High School 7th Grader, Caroline Childers, shot a season low 49 on Monday at Crosswinds Golf Course.
