Mrs. Dufresne's Second Grade

April 27th - May 1st, 2015

Curriculum Notes

We are reading chapter books in our anthology and during our Daily 5 time. Our goal is to learn how chapter books are organized - and get them hooked! Every chapter tells a part of the story, often an exciting event leading to a conclusion.

In Math, we are subtracting from hundreds numbers and subtracting from numbers with zeros. We will begin tying up and assessing the unit this week.

The butterfly larvae have spun their chrysalis and are transferred into the butterfly net. The kids have been very excited and enjoy observing them.
