Hard Work Cafe!
We have added a touch of reminder to our students that the stage area is an area that we celebrate students demonstrating Hard Work! (Go - Getters Lunch, calling up AR monthly winners, and PAWS monthly winners)! Please point this out during your Power Walks!
Thank you to Latasha and her family and JoBeth Tupa for this work!
Power Walk Snowman
There are 14 punch outs on a Snowman! Once you are done engaging your class (homeroom classes only) you and your class will choose ONE punch out! Inside it you will find a classroom prize! Turn in your slip of paper - and you will be granted your prize on the spot! Location of Snowman will be near the office! :)
All Power Walks due by 1-17-2020
Kindness and Leveling Up Bell....
January is a month of kindness!
Okay, gang, if you haven't already seen it - we have a bell that has been mounted! Yes, it looks like the one from Arby's! However, for the month of January - here is how the bell will be used!
Each time a student receives 5 DoJo points for Being Kind - they will get to ring the bell on their way to lunch! So, each time you hear this bell - you know that 5 acts of Kindness has occurred! In addition to ringing the bell - they will also get a picture (as the I in Kind) on the Spreading K NDness wall (outside of the office). Please be diligent in watching for acts of Kindness - and acknowledge with precise reasons why they have earned a point!

Computer Lab
It has come to my attention that often times we work right up until the bell leaving in a hurry and then leaving the computer lab a mess (chairs not pushed in, keyboards and mice scattered, students not logging out, paper/pencils at work stations....). Sooooo, please set a timer and end your class with a 2 min. window to tidy up OR designate a student or two (no more than 2) to tidy up as the class is leaving! Thank you....
