Meeting in Review
Three re-elected and two-newly elected members of the Methacton Board of School Directors were sworn into office at the Board's reorganization meeting on December 2. Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas Rogers administered the oath of office to Kim Aubrey-Larcinese, Andrew Maginnis, Andrea Rees, Semira Perdue, and Paul Winters. The recently-elected members join seated Board members Jen Cancro, Elizabeth Drummond, Mary Hull, and Ralph Navarrete. The new Board also re-elected Ms. Aubrey-Larcinese as Board President, and Ms. Drummond as Vice President -- each to serve a one-year term.

Methacton Education Foundation

Mr. Jim Beam, Methacton Education Foundation President, and Mrs. Nikki Krelovich, Foundation Executive Director, presented a check to Methacton School District in the amount of $83,596. The award will go toward supporting the following:
- All Elementary Schools - Dedicated iPad's for Elementary Library STEMaker Spaces ($23,952)
- All Elementary Schools - STEM Lessons in the Library ($1,000)
- Eagleville Elementary School - 24 Game: Teaching Tool to Sharpen Critical Math Skills ($2,212)
- Eagleville Elementary School - Breakout EDU: Game-Based Learning Platform ($583)
- Skyview Upper Elementary School - Outdoor Education - Need-Based Scholarships ($11,700)
- Methacton High School - DNA Molecular Separation Instructional Lab Kits ($3,800)
- Methacton High School - Engineering Laptops for Computer-Aided Design Software ($22,400)
- Methacton High School - CNC Machine and Training for MHS Engineering Course ($17,949)

Board Notes
The Methacton School District's Board of School Directors meets each month. School board work session meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday of the month, followed by the regular meeting on the fourth Tuesday (except during the month of December). Regular Board and work session meetings typically take place in the MHS LGI, and all residents are invited to attend. Committee meetings may take place in the Board Room at the Farina Center, or the MHS LGI. Meeting agendas are posted to agenda manager, and start times and locations are posted on the District's website. Please confirm meeting time and location before attending.
