Our “Popcorn ‘N More” fundraiser kicked off on Friday. Please ask your students to send you the link! Help us make it a success by sending it out to all friends and family, as well as adding it to social media.

Congratulations to the following students! Felicity Cabrera, Oliver Lampson, and Dilruni Weerasinghe have earned the prestigious honor of being named a Texas All-State Musician. These students have achieved the highest honor a high school musician can achieve in the state of Texas. In February, they will go to the TMEA Convention in San Antonio and perform with one of the All-State ensembles. Way to go!

Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band began after school sectionals this week. Please check with your students that are in these groups and make sure they are at their prescribed days/times.

All musicians have received a small ensemble. Students should be practicing this music individually and in groups outside of class. They will be expected to set up at least 4 outside of class rehearsals with their small ensembles, during Falcon Lunch, after school, or on the weekends at someone’s house.

The Winter Guard continues to have rehearsals this week on Tuesday and Thursday in preparation for their first contest on Saturday, February 4 at Morton Ranch HS.
