Creator's Corner Preschool
January 2016
Happy New Year
Welcome to 2016 at CCP. Its hard to believe we are half way through the year, it seems like time is flying by! We have lots of fun things happening in the next few months so please take a moment to read through the newletter.
Snow Day Has been Rescheduled
Friday, January 29th is the new date for our Snow Day. Each classroom will go out at their regularly scheduled recess time in the morning. If you would like to come and join the fun, check with your classroom teacher regarding their scheduled time. Since this is real snow, we recommend boots, jackets and gloves. Please send an extra set of dry clothes, including shoes in case your child gets wet.
Emergency/Announcement Phone System
We are continually striving to meet the needs of our families in the best way possible. We recognize the need to have a systematic notification process in case of an emergency. We are currently working a phone system that will allow us to get messages out to families in a timely fashion. This system will also be used to send out important school reminders. As soon as it is up and running we will send out further details on how it will be utilized.
Please make note of the following dates:
January 18th and 19th -Creator's Corner is closed. We will observe MLK on Monday and Tuesday our staff will be reviewing new curriculum supported by the Department of Education as well as collaborating on ways to better serve our students and families.

Last But Not Least...
A Few Reminders...
Now that the new preschool play structure is completed we have started working on our toddler playground. We are hoping the weather holds out and we can complete the project sometime in February.
Safety: Please watch your speed in the parking lot. We continue to see people driving too fast. We need everyone to slow down for the safety of the pedestrians.
