Winter Break is upon us
Winter Break starts after school today. There has been excitement in our students and staff leading up to break, but the focus has remained on learning. In my travels throughout the building this week, I've seen students reading, doing math, learning about the earth and magnets and STEM, studying countries and our Constitution, and writing. It looks like school as usual and it takes an awesome staff to keep our learning the focus in the days leading up to any break. I have so much to be thankful for this holiday season- my family and friends, our students, our staff, and your support. Thank you and I wish you Happy Holidays!
Our PTO rocks!
The staff and I cannot thank the PTO enough for all that they do for us. That means we thank you, too. The brunch on Tuesday was phenomenal. And we now have a restocked selection of K-cups for our coffee machine. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Article on DeSTEMber
In case you missed it, last week our students and staff participated in DeSTEMber activities on Wednesday. There were lots of pictures shared on Instagram, Twitter (find them on our #mertonint hashtag), and Facebook. The Lake Country Reporter wrote an article about our day. You can find it by clicking on this link. It was an awesome day of learning by students and staff.
