Fiesta San Antonio - Celebrate 300 Years!
We know that fiesta is right around the corner and we know a lot of people are getting ready for it. We asked some of Mark Twain’s students what they do for fiesta and what they feel about fiesta and here is what they said.
Emerald - "I like the culture and colors and you can dress up and I also like the food."
Alyna - "I like the colors and I like to go downtown."
Daniella - "I go downtown to party and meet people."
Michael - "I stay at home because it can be dangerous."
Coach Castano - "I like spending time with my family and trying all the different food at market square and other areas downtown and south town. I also enjoy taking my mom downtown because she also enjoys the music and the food."

San Antonio Zoo
Project Based Learning
After visiting the zoo Mark Twain students created ecosystems as a project to further enhance their learning. Students by class period created habitats of animals and plants. The project and trip was a huge success and is another way students can learn science and work towards mastery.
