Ladies - Advent by Candlelight Dec 8th
Advent by Candlelight is an event for women, ages 7th grade and older. It is an opportunity to take a moment from the holiday hustle and bustle to focus on what truly makes this season important - the birth of our Savior, Jesus.
You are welcome to bring any female guests with you - relatives, neighbors, co-workers, friends. We are looking forward to having you join us on Sunday, December 8th at 4 p.m.
Beverages will be provided. If you are willing, you may bring food to share. Just prepare for a small amount, 1/2 to 1 dozen of whatever you wish. Feel free to bring it on or in something festive. It will go on the food table to share with everyone.
If you can, please bring a pair of mittens or gloves (children - adult sizes) to donate to Tomorrow's Choice.
MISSION OFFERINGS
DID YOU KNOW if you miss bringing in your offering for Wednesday chapel, you can drop it into the offering plate at Trinity over the weekend and the school will receive it to forward to our Mission Project.
Please help the Prison Ministry and get us closer to our $1,500 goal!
As of now we have collected $970.07
ATTENTION ALL TEENS!
Youth Bible Class
November 17 & 24, 9:40-10:30am
Parents and Teens (and the whole family) are welcome to come to this monthly two-part Bible study that addresses how to be a more multi-culturally welcoming congregation. Our November two-week installment will focus on Many Cultures, One Lord. Come hear Mr. Pufahl and a special guest speaker share practical tips about how we can be more intentional about inviting and welcoming our diverse neighbors into our church family.
Service Opportunities
After our November Dinner & Movie night, we will transition our monthly activities from fellowship to service. As we near the holidays, it’s a great time to consider how best to share our time and talents to help others. So talk to your friends and your parents and choose one or both events to help your congregation and the larger community celebrate a season of thanksgiving and Christmas joy!
Wednesday, November 27th, 12:00–2:00pm
Stay following noon dismissal from TLS to help set-up the fellowship hall for a Thanksgiving feast! Youth Group will provide lunch for any teens willing to help!
Can’t stay to help? There’s another option! We need 8 families willing to prepare some Thanksgiving “classics” for our first “Thanksgiving Eve” dinner. 4 families are needed to prepare some “Stovetop” stuffing and 4 families are needed to prepare traditional green bean casserole (following this recipe: Green Bean Casserole)
Planning to attend?
Consider sticking around to clean-up. Many hands make the work light. Consider sharing your time this Thanksgiving with our church community! WE NEED YOU! RSVP to Mrs. Reinke (lreinke@trinitywels.com or 414-254-3397) right away with your preferred area of service and for additional details.
