Sacred Heart Weekly Update
November 9, 2020
Continuous Enrollment
Dear Sacred Heart families;
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. It may seem early, but we are beginning to plan for next school year. After signing the tuition agreement for the 2020-2021 school year, enrollment in future years is continuous and tuition agreements will carry over each year until graduation. This means that you will no longer have to complete the enrollment process each year, unless you have a new child entering the school. This will be a huge time-saver for you in future years and it will help us be more efficient and more fiscally responsive. No action is needed at this time, unless your child will not be returning next school year, in which case, please notify the school in writing by January 15th.
Registration Fee and Tuition: An annual non-refundable $50 per student registration fee will be charged to your TADS account, on or around February 15th for students who are enrolled for the 2021-2022 school year at Sacred Heart Catholic School. Families will be notified by February 1st each year with any changes to tuition rates and fees. It is the responsibility of each family to then adjust account information (i.e. address, phone number, emails) and payment plans (one, two, or 10 monthly payments) through TADS each spring.
Tuition Agreements (Action needed in spring): Once tuition agreements generate in TADS this spring, parents will be notified via email (from TADS) to sign their tuition agreement which will carry forward until student graduation.
Once the registration fee is charged and paid through TADS, a place will be reserved for each student. However, acceptance of the registration fee does not guarantee admission for the following year. Continuous enrollment will be based on a family’s good standing in meeting financial obligations to the school as well as meeting compulsory attendance obligations as defined in our School Handbook.
If you have any questions regarding the enrollment process, please contact Karen Bursey at 763-285-6255.
Sincerely,
Karen Bursey
Principal
Free lunches will end on November 30th-----Parents will be charged for lunch in December
Don't forget to order your December lunches. We only have "extra" lunches if someone is absent.
The December menu will be ready soon.
Transportation - Bussing is delayed
Robbinsdale School District has decided to continue with distance learning so there will be no bussing for Sacred Heart. I am assuming this will go through January or longer.
Our plan is to continue in-person learning unless the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Mpls. makes a decision. Things have been going well at Sacred Heart Catholic School so I do not see us making any changes at this time.
