HONOR A VETERAN
As you are trying to find that perfect gift for your favorite veteran, here is an opportunity to support a veteran by purchasing a brick paver and having it permanently placed in the Buckhorn H.S. Veterans Memorial.
Buying a brick is the one gift that truly keeps on giving. This is a permanent way to honor our veterans and their sacrifices to this country. These memorial bricks are located at the front of the school, as a permanent reminder of those veterans who served our great nation. There is no better way to honor your veteran, or service member than by purchasing a brick for them!
If you are interested in honoring your veteran and supporting the BHS JROTC program, please click the blue button below for more information and the order form.

SENIOR PORTRAITS
Senior "Tux or Drape" Portrait Selection for Yearbook:
Select your favorite "tux or drape" pose by next Fri., Nov. 6. If you do not make a selection, it will be made for you. You should have received info. about how to make that selection online. If you no longer have that info, then call Lifetouch/Prestige at (256) 382-2798 or (256) 534-1001 and leave a message if necessary. BHS personnel cannot make that selection for you at this time.
Seniors Who May Not Be Included in the Yearbook:
Because 43 seniors have not had their "tux or drape" portraits made by Lifetouch/Prestige, we are having another portrait day in the school library next Fri., Nov. 6th, from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM. To sign up, log in with the senior's school Google account and go here --> .http://bit.ly/BHSseniorportraits. If one of the 43 seniors fails to make an appointment or misses that appointment, then s/he will not be in the senior section of the 2020-2021 yearbook.

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
http://www.hsvutil.org/myhsvu…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
