Organelle Wanted Poster
By: Ariel Reese & Krysta Caldwell
Nucleus
WANTED: The Nucleus is the center, most important part of a cell because it is the control center of everything. Found in animal cells. More information found at the bottom of the page.
Ribosome
WANTED: Ribosomes are the protein synthesizers of the cell. They are found in both Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes. (Types of cells) More information found at the bottom of the page.
Chloroplast
WANTED: The Chloroplast are specialized subunits in which are found in plants, which captures sunlight to get ATP (energy). More information found at the bottom of the page.
Mitochondria
WANTED: The mitochondria is known as the powerhouse of the cell. Mostly found in plants to again, convert ATP into energy. More information on the Mitochondria located on the bottom of this page.
Plasma Membrane
WANTED: A membrane that separates the inside of the cellular components from the outside cellular components. More information found at the bottom of the page.
Cell Wall
WANTED: Consisted mainly of cellulose, the cell wall protects the inside of the plant. This includes all plants, fungi, bacteria, etc. More information found at the bottom of the page.
Golgi Body
WANTED: An Organelle found in most Eukaryotic cells. It is part of the endomembrane system.
Vacuoles
WANTED: Vacuoles are storage bubbles found in cells.
Rough & Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum
WANTED: Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum is just smooth because it is not studded with ribosomes. Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum is studded with ribosomes.
Cytoplasm
WANTED: It in the filling fluid inside of the cell. This is found in both plant and animals. More information found at the bottom of the page.
