The Senior Statement
August 2018
Welcome to the Home Stretch
On July 23rd, 2015 I stood in front of nearly 700 anxious freshmen students and talked about expectations, procedures, and the steps to making the most of the 720 days they would spend in high school. We are now in the home stretch with only about 160 of those days left to prepare for life after high school.
I could not be more proud of what this group of students has accomplished in their first three years, or more excited for what they will accomplish over the short time that we have left. On August 2nd this year I again spoke with our class about focusing on doing two things:
- Be a person of good character
- Be kind to others
If as a group we are able to follow these two guiding principles over the next 160 days we will accomplish great things. We will prepare for life after high school, and we will have a lot of fun in the process.
As a team, we appreciate your continued support of your students and efforts to keep them on track as we head towards the finish line into the next chapters of their lives. As always, if there is anything we can do to help please do not hesitate to reach out to the team.
Sincerely,
Adam Poliskie
