Happy Friday!

I know the most recent Weekly Update covers this upcoming holiday week, but after the wonderful morning we had at Craddock today, I couldn't wait to share all of the love, laughter and celebration with each of you!

This morning we had our second Craddock Rally of the year, where we come together, do a whole school morning meeting and then celebrate all of the great things happening in the building. Today we also announced our first trimester Craddock All-Stars, as well as the Craddock Staff All-Stars! These are students and staff who go above and beyond consistently to be respectful, responsible and problem solvers. They are daily role models and always looking for ways to be leaders! I am so incredibly proud of them and was honored to celebrate them this morning in front of the whole school!

Our biggest whole-school celebration came in the form of a goodbye to Mrs. Bayer, Craddock's building secretary. She is hanging up her Aurora hat after 24 wonderful years here. We honored her this morning with applause, a gift, a beautiful song and some letters that represent what she means to us. Although we are so happy for her to be starting the next phase of her journey, she will be missed beyond measure.

Have a great weekend! We look forward to seeing our friends Monday and Tuesday. We will then all enjoy a well-deserved five days off for the Thanksgiving holiday, to return on Monday, 11/28/22.
