How does the Integumentary system work with other systems

the Integumentary system works with circulatory system by helping the capillaries surface through the body. Also it can help deliver medication to the blood stream through the skin. The Integumentary system also works with the nervous system and it sends messages to the brain and the body about touch and actions based on the messages.

Medical advances in the Integumentary system

There has been a lot of great advancements in the integumentary system. Like some engineers at Stanford invented artificial skin and that sends signals to the brain about touch and feel. There has also been people that have now started to di cosmetic surgery or plastic surgery to repair skin. this has led to many lives being saved and has given people that cant feel a chance to touch and feel.
